The meeting of June 2 was attended by our "Round Table". Although intended to complete the Perfect 10 a lively conversation trumped the plans once again. President Bill has promised to determine the best method to complete this project and get it out to our club. Announcements District Change Over Dinner- June 12, 2022 6 PM Marlton Country Club Post Wedding Party- hosted by Jay and Meghan Schwartz , September 4 at their Colts Neck home. Details to follow. Happy Dollars: Joe celebrated seeing his grandchildren and family in Chicago for the first time in over two years. They were very busy during the MMD weekend trip- children's activities are many- who is going where when was the question each day during their visit. Ted had a great MMD weekend spent with family enjoying the great weather and time together. Addie was very happy to see Ted. Bill Dickinson is happy his sister-in-law in visiting from Florida. President Bill Donnelly is looking forward to traveling to Oregon to visit his in-laws. Katie was happy for the great weather. Meeting discussion: Jay has heard from District 7490. The Rotary members who were hosts during Jay's trip to India are interested in visiting the US as a Friendship Exchange. The Rotarian who organzied the trip from District 7490- Northern New Jersey-is not in a position to facilitate this request. Jay feels it would be the right thing for these folks, 5 Rotarians and significant others for a total of 10 people, to visit because they were so gracious in hosting the group prior to the pandemic. The trip is typically about 10 days and requires host homes. President Bill and Addie suggested asking our District Administrator for assistance in getting this trip together. They can stay and explore our district area, visit NYC and Philadelphia. Meghan Valonski is organizing photos from Jay and Meghan's honeymoon trip to the Phileppines as a program for a future meeting.
