Club service forms the basic foundation for our Rotary Club structure and membership. Among the many important areas of responsibility under club service, the following areas are receiving particular emphasis this year:

Attendance: A high priority effort is underway to improve individual member attendance through reinforced committee orientation, re-emphasis on new member orientation, initiation of an internal mentor program for new members and informative programs.

Classifications: Under intensive review to free areas for new members.

COGS: Weekly newsletter using new electronic format. Being distributed by e-mail, fax and regular mail.

Directory: Reformatted, condensed and updated. Issued with hardcover binder to all members.

Honorary Rotarian of the Year: Used each year to highlight community services of an outstanding non-Rotarian citizen.

Intercity Meeting: A highly successful joint meeting of area Rotary Clubs held each year to share social fun and Rotary goals.

Picnic: A traditional gathering at Summer’s end for relaxation, good food, fellowship and games.

Programs: Use of dynamic, far-reaching, diverse programs to promote interest through entertainment and timely information.

Public Relations: Working hard to promote better understanding of Rotary goals and contributions to the community.
