Pastor Isaac Friedel
The Jersey Shore Dream Center

Friedel & Diamond Friedel

As a teenager, growing up in church, Pastor Isaac had a dream of one day playing baseball professionally. While at St. Rose High School Pastor Isaac excelled, receiving all-state honors and a full baseball scholarship to play division one baseball at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. While at UMBC, Pastor Isaac’s dream of playing baseball began to slow, but God was getting ready to reveal a NEW DREAM, a BIGGER DREAM.

In 2006, Pastor Isaac was invited to work and serve under Pastor Matthew Barnett at the Los Angeles Dream Center. The experience changed his life forever. After dedicating his life to the Lord at the LA Dream Center, God began to light a new fire in Pastor Isaac to bring the LA Dream Center’s transforming concepts to the lost and hurting families of the Jersey Shore. Pastor Isaac didn’t really know where to start, so he began simply walking the streets of inner-city Asbury Park, with fellow board member Steve Yellovich, handing out bottles of water every Saturday.

In March of 2012, Pastor Isaac and President, Anthony Megaro, stepped out again in faith and officially incorporated the Jersey Shore Dream Center. Since their incorporation, the Jersey Shore Dream Center has grown exponentially and is considered one of the largest outreach centers in all of Monmouth and Ocean County New Jersey. They currently have 14 weekly programs including, Food Trucks, Food Pantries, Soup Kitchen, Adopt-a-Block, Diaper Pantry, a Women’s Discipleship Program and a Family Restoration Home. In 2015 the Jersey Shore Dream Center impacted over 40,000 lives through their weekly programs.

Pastor Isaac and the Jersey Shore Dream Center have been featured on News 12 New Jersey, Trinity Broadcasting Network, USA Today, NBC News, and many other local newspapers and magazines.
